New South-East Asia Service
Commencing 24 April, Taiwan based container line Yang Ming will be running a South-East Asia to Australia service (AAA). The service will be carried out via a slot exchange co-operation using boxships operated by Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL), Pacific International Lines (PIL), COSCO and CMA CGM.

The service will call on ports: Laem Chabang, Singapore, Port Klang, Fremantle, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Fremantle, Singapore and back to Laem Chabang with a round voyage taking 42 days.

In addition to the upcoming AAA service, Yang Ming provides two existing services that cover the far East-Australian market. One is the CAT service, with a port rotation of Ningbo, Shanghai, Shekou, Kaohsiung, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Kaohsiung and Ningbo. The other is the NAX service, whose rotation is Yokohama, Osaka, Pusan, Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Yokohama.
